What happens
- Plasterboard is fixed to the walls and ceilings, then set and sanded
- Internal doors, architraves and skirting boards go in
- Kitchen and bathroom cabinetry is installed, then benchtops
- Wet areas are waterproofed and tiled
What to check on a visit
- Power point and light positions match your electrical plan
- Doors swing the right way and are the right size
- Tile selections and layout in each wet area
- Any plasterboard damage, before it is painted over
